How does billing work?

Pay-as-you-go is usage-based — you pay only for what you use above the Free tier, at 60% below PostHog unit pricing. Annual billing is 20% cheaper. Soft quota + billing cap on by default — set a hard ceiling, approval requested before any overage. No surprise invoices, ever.

Can I get a refund?

Yes — 30-day unconditional refund, no questions asked. Pause or downgrade anytime; usage stops instantly, no surprises.

Where does my data live?

Default EU — hosted in EU data centers with automatic failover. No US transfer needed. Pay-as-you-go can opt into a region (EU/US).

Which features are in Free?

All of them. Truth Layer, attribution, identity, session replay, AI, CAPI writeback — every product feature is open in Free and Pay-as-you-go alike. We do not gate features. The only difference is usage volume and the platform layer (SSO/SAML/audit).
